Vocabulary
adjacent angles: angles that share a vertex and a side
angle bisector: a ray that divides an angle into 2 congruent angles
collinear points: points on the same line
noncollinear points: points not on the same line
coplanar lines: lines on the same plane
noncoplanar lines: lines not on the same plane
complementary angles: angles that add up to 90*
congruent angles: angles that have the same measure
isometric drawing: shows a corner view of a three-dimensional figure
linear pair: 2 angles that are adjacent and supplementary
net: a two-dimensional drawing of a three-dimensional figure
orthographic drawing: shows three separate views: a top view, a front view, and a right-side view
perpendicular bisector: a line, segment, or ray that forms a 90* angle with a segment and cuts it into 2 congruent segments
perpendicular lines: lines that intersect at at a 90* angle
opposite rays: rays that have a common endpoint and point in opposite directions
segment bisector: a point, ray, or line that divides a segment into 2 congruent segments
supplementary angles: 2 angles that add up to 180*
vertex: the common endpoint of the rays of an angle
vertical angles: 2 angles whose sides are opposite rays
straight angles: measure 180*
